Happy Tuesday!

✨ The main key to being more motivated is to find what you enjoy!
For example, if you hate your job, but still want to be motivated to get up and go, you have to find what you enjoy about it.
💭 That could be the money you make from your job or the experience that you’ll get, so later on you can find something better.
Whatever it may be, find that one thing and really lean into that.
🤔 But what if that doesn’t work?
Well… I got you covered ! 😉
There are many other ways to become more motivated and here’s how:
👓 1. Find ways to put it in front of your face.
Wherever I go on LinkedIn, one of the first people I see is the beautiful Ruth Balsiger, who is a nutrition and health coach from Switzerland.
Her posts look very similar to things like this…
😋 and this…
🤤 and this!
YUMMY, RIGHT? 🤤
Seeing delicious and healthy food choices REALLY motivates me to get up and start my morning by eating something healthy because I enjoy how delicious those foods look.
Versus if I had not followed her and seen that, then I probably would be shoving my face with something unhealthy. 😆
📈 2. Track your progress
Tracking your progress helps you to stay on track because you’ll see where you were when you first started and how far you’ve come now!
Whenever you’re feeling discouraged, this will be the perfect way to provide you with that extra motivation. When I was losing weight I made sure to keep a monthly chart of my weight loss so I could track it. That was me tracking my progress.
Find a way to track your progress that works good for you!
3. Change your mindset
Sometimes you have to step back and look at the overall picture.
Dr. Makiya Bey knows all about mindset! A lot of her posts are targeted around anxiety management and helping individuals become their authentic selves. With remarkable experience under her belt she often shares her thoughts on LinkedIn.
In one of her posts she wrote …
“Having a strong sense of purpose can lift our wellbeing, strengthen our resilience, and safeguard our mental health.”
The way we think about ourselves matters so much! If you feel like it’s extremely hard for you to feel motivated about anything, it could be because you are suffering with a lack of self worth.
Mindset truly matters.
Do you feel like you have a purpose? Do you feel like you belong to something?
Does your mindset help you or hurt you?

“Then one I day I planted a tree with my son.
A small tree, so tiny and young.
We both watched as the tree began to grow.
But no tree can take the place of that sweet sapling, I planted long ago.”
